1986 Bigfoot Awning Parts

My wife and I acquired a 1986 Bigfoot B17 Deluxe 6 months ago and the previous owner said he only used the awning a few times but it had broken parts that made it difficult to even open. We just had a mobile RV tech, who is certified Dometic repair, take a look and he thought it was a Dometic awning but was not able to find any parts to fix it.

He said a new one to replace would cost about $1500 installed. Just wondering if anyone could ID the one we've got and if parts would still be available. I've included photos. Thanks.

David, you may try googling RV Recyclers.....I saw one come up in Bakersfield, but since the parts that you need appear to be sun damaged plastic, perhaps you should try etrailer.com. or some other supplier.
Contact them with the pictures and perhaps you'll have some luck.

There is a person on the parts section of this board who has a awning from a 1996 17 footer,says it's 10 feet. Located in Oregon . The one on our BF (2003) is a Dometic and looks very similar.
