1988 Bigfoot B19 Replacement door window frame?

When I first bought my 1988 Bigfoot B19, I epoxied the plastic window frame on the door, but the plastic has not held up and seems to have cracked again, which led to the glass pane sliding down (hence the blue tape in the photo, just to close the gap from the glass sliding down. I don't know if I can find just a replacement frame for this window (the glass is in perfect condition so would love to just reuse it) or if I have to replace the entire window frame and glass (and if so, where would I go to do that)?

The approximate inside measurements of the frame are 11 3/4" wide by 20 3/4" tall.

Any suggestions greatly appreciated!

Hi Donna, I remember visiting them a few years ago, but I don't think I needed a new window then - I will definitely give them a call, thanks for that suggestion!

Those frames are prone to cracking. I saw some on the shelf a year or so ago at Camping World. They are listed on their web site in different sizes.

I believe RV doors have standard window sizes. This mail order place sells a size they list as 12" x 21".

Just in case you missed it, they sell an inside and outside frame. I'll be doing mine some time soon and I'll order both.

Thanks, yes, I did notice that one has to purchase the interior, exterior and screws all separately. I'm excited to install it!

Red face New window frame installed

Thanks for the tips on where to get a new frame. I bought one and installed it. Had to go to ACE to get a couple more of the stainless steel screws, as the new window frame needed two more than the old frame. Here's a photo of it installed. I was thinking I would caulk around the edges but wonder if that is necessary? Before installing the frame, I used a clear sealant to seal the inside of the opening so that the styrofoam core would no longer be exposed to the elements. That way if the window were to leak, the water would not flow into the layers that make up the door.

Thanks to all for sharing. I just discovered our Bigfoot needs this door molding as well. I'm in Canada. Hope we can find it here.
