Hello all, please

Recently I purchased this unit and the first two times I went out with it all signal lights, brake lights, and running lights worked fine.

This weekend when I went to leave and was testing the signal light, the right signal wasn't working and I jiggled the 7 pin connector and then it was working and off I went. Coming back home today I was unable to get the right signal working at all. Humm not even the jiggle to the 7 pin connector helped this time. (wiring on truck is brand new).

Once home I replaced the ground wire as the old one was frayed in a couple spots. Tested all lights, and on the right side I have no signal, no brake, no 4 Way, no reverse no running light. Left side I have signal, brake, 4 way, running light, but the reverse light does not work. (Granted I never tested the reverse ligths before today.)

Now I have read through a few of other tail light problem solving questions for a few suggestions with other types of trailers, but thought I would ask as well.

Thank you for taking the time to read about my problem and I look forward to reading your suggestions. Down the road I may have a few more as this is my first Trailer!!! Moved up from a tent trailer finally! Cheers!

check the ground wire at the tail-light, bad grounds are usually the culprits. either at the light or somewhere in between

Found the culprit, it was the trailer 7 pin connector at the connection to the truck. Picked up the $8 part and changed it, then everything worked.
