Study the installation instructions well before doing the work. As a great member here advised me when I was working to get my fridge to run better - read them, then read them again, see how well you understand them, read them again. Over a few day period. At their best the “side vent” fridge installations work marginally in really hot weather. The installation is very, very important. Vent location, baffling etc.
And obviously, be very cautious with the
propane connections.
For some people ice boxes are a better plan. My experience, which isn’t exactly average, but not uncommon, is that
propane fridges in rvs are quirky, expensive, and often cause a lot of grief and trouble.
Others seem to have no problems...
