2015 Highlander & ScanGauge II

So I have been trying to program an X-Gauge option in my newly purchased ScanGauge II for the transmission temp in our 2015 Highlander 3.5l V6. Found several codes on ScanGauge site to do this. Have not tried every one, but the three I have tried did not work. One was actually coolant temp, others displayed nothing other than the names I gave them. I just contacted ScanGauge through their web site, but not expecting a reply till at least next week and we are headed into the mountains again Monday. Has anyone set up a tranny temp readout on a ScanGauge II for a 2015 Highlander V6? If so, could you share the proper codes with me?

I have it set up for my '06 Highlander V6 AWD and it works perfectly (took a while for the command to appear on their website, that was maybe 2 years ago. Been using the SG for close to 10 years now).
The X Gauge command for your '15 is probably different.
I did try 2 or 3 commands before finding the one that works for me.
Have you programmed other X Gauge commands before, and do they work? Might be the way you enter the code.

ScanGauge is quite responsive, and should contact you shortly. They are continually discovering new codes. If you have had yours a long time, it may need a firmware update in order to use the provided code; that involves mailing them the unit with $25 so they can replace the programmable memory chip.
I have both torque converter output temp and pan temp codes installed for our 2017 4runner.

also find a toyota highlander forum, they very well might have folks who are more familiar with the internal codes...

I use TorquePro on my phone to monitor my f250 diesel, that app has a definitions file for ford-specific stuff which adds tons of monitors you can configure, this includes stuff like manifold absolute pressure, transmission temperature, torque converter slip ratio (3 that I monitor)
