3 way fridge

I have a 3 way fridge in my boler that is leaking carbon monoxide. I can turn off the gas to the fridge and use the other appliances with out it going off. The burner is going so there is a flame. The appliance is not original and I bought it this way. Is there a way to vent this as maybe that is the problem. or does this fridge witch is smaller need to be surounded with flashing (tin ) to make up for the size. I have heard that the fridge should only have about 1" clearance from the vent behind it. I have soap tested all the connections its seems to smell like flue gas. sure hope someone can help.

Hi Pete. I am a little confused by your description. A propane fridge needs to be completely sealed on all sides except for the rear to keep deadly gases out of the living area. Typically there are two vents at the rear of the fridge/ side of the trailer. One is for air intake and access for cleaning and one for exhaust. I would suggest you take your rig to a technician for proper installation or at the very least obtain an installation manual for you model. Good luck, Raz

It sounds like there are no seals to stop airflow between the front and back of the fridge. Ours had cloth and resin from the underside of the counter to the top of the fridge and also at the sides. When we replaced the fridge these had to be replaced to keep the exhaust from the trailer interior.
