I have to agree with Tim
They are both thermostats, one controls the gas flame when on
propane and the other controls the electricity when on electric power.
But don't worry Butski...I've got a brand new fridge and no matter what setting I got the thermostates on/ either on gas or 110v....my food will be frozen in the morning and warm by the afternoon on sunny days.
The insolation is so little in the fridge the outside ambient temps will effect the inside of the fridge.
Ever try to fry a frozen egg?
