'89 19' Bigfoot holding tank capacities?

We just bought our 3rd. Bigfoot trlr. and the seller didn't know the holding tank capacities. I hate to fill them by the measured jug to find out, but...?
It's a 1989 model 19B. Anyone have a like rig and knows the answer. We had a '92 17ft. which had only 10gal. black, and I can't recall the grey.
Help....

Measure the tank, there is 7.48 gallons in a cubic foot.

handy link

it won't help you with the black tank....but if you crawl underneath the trailer with a tape measure you can use this for fresh and grey water tanks

I have a 94 17CB and the origional owner provided me with a sales brochure that lists the black tank capacity for both the 17 and 19 foot units at 8.5 gallons. The grey tank in the 17 foot holds 19 gallons and the grey tank in the 19 foot holds 17 gallons. The bigger trailer has a smaller grey tank. Also both the 17 and 19 foot trailers have a 27.5 gallon fresh water tank.

I'm not sure if any of this helps you. There is no print date on the literature but I'm guessing 1993

Hey, Brian, 3rd time's a charm! I love my 1988 17-Bigfooter.

To your question: my 1988 has a spec sheet showing the Fresh Water tank is 28 gals. (but standard is 23; this has the optional bigger tank); Grey Water 17 gals.; Black Water 8.5 gals. Also, the water heater holds 6.2 gals.

I should think the year difference in age probably doesn't make a difference?? Hope this helps.

BTW, if you'd like a scanned copy of this Spec Sheet, I'd be happy to email it to you. Pretty much what it lists is the "amenities" for the 3 models available that year; Dimensions (length, headroom, tire size, stuff like that); then Tank Capacities, which I just gave you.

Good luck with your new Bigfoot!

Congrats to your 3rd BF. I have my 7th one now. Here are the Cap# for your 19. Fresh 37.5 Gallons, Gray 17 gal, black 8.5 gal. Do you have a 19 Gaucho, or a 19 Bunk?
