The furnace on my future Liberty is under the sink, as it was on my Scamp.
My 1999 LD also has the furnace under the sink. I'm thinking Casita must do the SD/FD models differently, where the galley unit is just a little bit shorter and on the curb side of the trailer. Putting it under the cooktop in the SD/FD would keep it next to the end of the cabinet, adjacent to the spot they put the on/off/thermostat control. This is just a guess.

Thanks, Suz, I'll check carefully before buying larger tires.

Oh, and yes, the battery is in the back, under the street side seat, next to the water heater. It's in a sealed box with a large vent hose leading to the outside. I don't know what this had for a cover over it when it was new, but there are just crumbly plastic remnants there now.

Of interest was a green, 30-amp ATO inline fuse coming out of the battery box, just as someone else had asked about in another thread.

Mine was off as well. Victims of the elements, I'm sure. I found a small square one that I put on. It was one of the first things I did and would do a better job today, but have taken the "don't fix it until it breaks again" approach. Anyway, here's a picture of mine.

Thanks, Suz. Now that I know what it's supposed to look like I'll scope out the local RV shop for a replacement. The inlet to the fresh water tank could probably stand to be replaced, too.
I would imagine that the UV rays and, in the case of the battery, the fumes, shorten the life of the plastic exterior bits.

The curtains are shot, too, most likely also victims of the extended exposure to light.
