I don't know where you can buy one already made but here's a pic of a really nice one we saw camping last winter. The owner had it made at a custom canvas shop.
I have a '81 Burro. The Add-A-Room that I have was originally bought in 1981 out the J C Penny catalog. I have no idea what company actually made them. I will take a look tonight. I still have the papers that came with it.
you might look at BusDepot.com - VW Bus / Camper / Vanagon / EuroVan / Westfalia Specialists. they specialize in stuff for vw bus campers but i found an awning designed for the bus that worked great on my 13' patriot (the 8' version) . it attaches to the roof of the trailer with suction cups (optional) and has 2 poles at the front corners. i especially liked the dome roof (no rain water collection issues). they sell a "wall" kit to create a room but, i've not tried that product.
I prefer the vintage look so I had a rope awning made up with sides at ( Marti's Vintage Trailer Awnings ). It goes up complete in less than 5 minutes with two people. I have a side for the front but don't use it.
