We've added a number of new links to the Helpful-Links page...check it out! And, as usual if you find a problem with dead links, or have any you'd like to see added...I'd appreciate knowing about it

Curtis, if your memory is like mine, it's possible everything will look new Then too, maybe the site holder have changed/added stuff to their sites

Among [b]other things, I added the categories "Adhesives, Epoxy and Caulk," and "Windows and Window Parts."

Thanks for the heads-up. Holy Cow, exploring them could take a whole day! Kind of like in a candy store. A great resource though. All of us might save a lot of questions if we simply utilized the Helpful-Links.

Maybe the questions would just move up to a different level of complexity?

I don't know about you, but my life is plenty complex as it is. If the compexity rises, like water, I'll be sunk. . And I don't imagine I'll ever achieve a shortage of questions to ask. But like Curtis, checking all the links is kind of like getting a new catalog, it's probably going to cost me some money.
By-the-way, am I the only one who has an intermittant banana smilie? The rest of the "active" smilies appear to be consistant but the banana seems to require periodic "rest" periods.

I tried the Helpful-Link for Dutch Oven cooking. The International Dutch Oven Society site came up with "this page cannot be found" HTTP Error #404. Is this due to my computer security settings? The other sites came up without problems.

Not you...it's a dead link. This is the biggest problem with trying to maintain something like this. Looks like the recipe link no longer exists. You could try their main page:
