adding battery

The Scamp we are getting next week does not have a battery, does anyone know if the wiring should be battery compatable, or will we have to wire up battery lines ourselves??

That depends on the history of the trailer. My Trillium was ordered without a battery so I had to get one installed and that was all new wiring. I did not have the knowledge to install it myself as I was also getting a new 3 stage converter installed at the same time. Someone may have just pulled the battery at some point in yours and the wiring is still there.

Thanks, I guess we will just have to find out when we get it. Kirk wanted to bring a battery with us when we pick it up. I suppose it couldn't hurt to have it, even if we can't use it right away.

My 91S13 didn't have a battery when it was originally built, but the wiring for it was all there, even the fuse holder taped up in the harness near where the battery mounts on the tongue, so likely you will have no problems.

Be aware that there is a second fuse holder under the door-side bunk, perhaps hidden under the rat fur -- It will be with the other wires that come in the door side and cross the front to run down the other side to the rear.
