Hi there, I am in need of a Aluminum 2-element base plate for my tail light. This is the square tail light and one of the light sockets has snapped of the base plate. I had really dim lights and no left turn signal, so I was cleaning the socket when the darn thing broke off. I did change the harness and the lights are really bright again. I was thinking it had a bad connection and with it being so weak and snapping off perhaps this is also the issue with the turn signal not working. Anyway, scamp no longer carries the aluminum plate for my poor 'ol '78 scamp. Anyone with one for sale or knows of any ideas would be helpful to me......thanks a lot.....

If no one answers up and you don't want to change to LEDs, try:

Have you tried the Scamp parts department?

You're trailer is 32 years old, lenses may be real hard to come by. I think Dr. George has a phone... have you tried calling? They may want you to e-mail a photo of what you precisely need..... Otherwise maybe it's time to upgrade the lighting?

Yes tried scamp and the one on their site is the 91 series which doesn't fit my camper. It is the 92 series I would need to install. Going to pick them up at the local rv dealer today......has the three wires and two ground wires which I will attach to the bumper. This should work. Thanks.

Scamp is of no help, I've spoken to them several times and they have no documentation of older trailers due to the fire they had.......

Lens

I have three lens, which and one good square plate, so I'll be placing them on ebay. Lenses can be picked up on taillight king website.
