Hi Falicea. I hope you are making great progress on your Amerigo! I have owned a 1972 Amerigo since 1995. One of the first things I did was remove the furnace. It is now much need storage space. Not much space mind you, but things like bug spray, cleaning supplies and anything else you want easy access to just inside the door. I know I am responding a couple of months after you posted so you may have already patched over the furnace exhaust opening. I decided to use the opening and add A/C outlets and a 12 volt outlet. The A/C outlet works great for a plug in night light. I use the 12 volt outlet for a large plug in cooler. My two cents worth. I hope to read you are close to camping in your Amerigo !!!
