Another Fairbanks treasure for sale?

CL listed this Avio today. Never heard of Avio (maybe avion?) and already intimidated by upcoming work on my burro CT to be interested in buying it. Is this a potential treasure in the arctic rough?

Oh my! Kinda big for me, but..... Nah my wife would kill me.

It should be noted that the side of the trailer says AVCO, not Avio.

Ah, Avco. I googled to learn more about the unit w/o success. Saw a number of cool 70s Avco motor homes but nothing like the posted camper. Anyone have more info?

Maybe it's this one:

Alaska being on the same coast as Oregon, maybe it is the same one - ?

I found the patent application for that specific trailer model which was filed by Avco Corp in 1968. It has foam insulation! The holding tank configuration is shown in the patent drawings

https://patents.google.com/patent/US3565480

Note to moderators, this patent document might be good to have in the forum archive files for the various FGRV models. It will likely be the best available reference document for this particular trailer both for the written descriptions, the names of the persons responsible for the design of the trailer and for the dimensioned drawings.

It is the same company that made the Avco motorhomes, they were also made in Tulsa.

$1,500 for that looks to be a great price per lb. Still doesn't make it a bargain.

Isn't Alaska is on the other side of Canada, and what with war imminent... Oh, I'm just kidding.

We'll work this out. Maybe a tariff on fake eyebrows. [note: search Trudeau fake eyebrows]

Gotta keep a sense of humor. I wish you all well.
