This is how it should be wired if you follow the wiring colour code as per your 7 pin.

Finally got it figured out
Two issues
1) trailer pkg was not wired properly ( per dealership)
2) found that the 7 pin adapter was defective
What a troubleshooting nightmare

Are you saying the dealership determined that pkg was not wired correctly by a 3rd party or are you saying the dealership messed up?

I m saying the factory installed tow pkg was bad
