Anyone have these beside their Boler Door?

On either side of my door in my Boler 1700 I have these "supports". Anyone know if they are after market or factory installed? They were screwed into the trailer and not riveted so I am unsure. They are rusted and I'd like to get rid of them even if it means replacing them with some Nice looking plywood.

We have them in our 79 Boler 1700. I think they were factory (even though ours were screwed on as well), because the finish on ours is the same as the cabinets....

Thanks very much. I was thinking they were as I don't know who would get them manufactured. I'm going to replace them with some plywood supports.

Why not neutralize the rust with a product like Permatex rust treatment, then repaint them. I would think metal would be better than wood around a door for support and NOT warping.

As indicated those are stock from Bigfoot who are known to have built bigger and stronger so I would be think that if they decided that metal was better than wood for that application/purpose you might want reconsider replacing it with wood ;-)
