Anyone tried magnets?

I see Lee Valley sells cupped magnets for use in keeping doors and draws closed. Has anyone used them in their trailer and if so, how did they work? Raz

Neat find! I, too, would be interested in hearing if they would work. I'll be replacing my doors and don't want to use original catches.

Yes, we have magnetic catches in our trailer: Magnets to hold our cabinet doors shut, to hold our external hatch doors open, and to hold our spices in place. I even have a magnet-inspired tall tale to tell.

Hello Peter and thanks for taking the time. The pull weight was what I wasn't sure about. It would appear that the 1/2" size that Lee Valley sells will do the job for most smaller cabinet doors. The next size up (5/8) will do for the closet door and the silverware draw. And in terms of medicinal use I hear crystals are equally effective. Thanks again. Raz
