PEX rings and crimping tools are supposed to be a standard dimension. If you buy from a local suppliers, like Lowes or Home Depot, you should be OK. I don't trust on-line off-brand tools when tolerances and materials are critical.

ditto. thanks. online is, for me o.k. when I am purchasing something with a known name. It's the no-name I won't touch....there is one pex supplier on e-bay that twice I have asked whar brand cincher, do date - no answer - who knows what he has
