Avocado color code for Trillium 1300

I hope this hasn't been covered but I have been unable to find the color colour code for my 1974 Trillium 1300 avocado green in colour. I have no choice but to cover a bad blue paint job and want to go original.

Hi Donald, this may be tough because Trilliums weren't painted at the factory, but had a color gelcoat. Over the years, UVs cause gelcoat to change color. You might look inside a cabinet and try to match the appropriate paint type to the color you find there. Or maybe you'll be lucky and someone will answer up!

The only color codes I have for Trilliums is for the light beigy color and that's because folks were trying to do minor touch ups after some small bodywork.

Best of luck!

Donna D. Clor code for light beigy color for Trillium

Hi Donna D. We just did a bit of painting on our "light beigy color" trillium, and it does NOT look as good as I'd like. Can you provide those color codes for that? I never knew there was one, so that would be very helpful to cover up what we did, which does not match.
Thanks!!!

I used Krylon Colormaster Gloss Ivory to repaint my fridge and hot water heater panels. I didn't try it directly on a FG gel coat repair, but on these panels it matches pretty good.
This paint is available in just about any hardware store.

I've found the best paint to use is on a fibreglass trailer is Interlux Brightside. You can get it at a Marina (paint is used on fibreglass boats). I've painted my Trillium 1300 with it twice in 12 years, does not peal and is flexible, self levelling (you can roll it or brush and tip, not recommended to be sprayed). My trailer is left outside and paint will fade a bit after a few years ( stored in side would be best ).
They don't have Trillium green, but I have mixed the color using their yellow, black and white paint. It was 5 years ago that I painted it last, so I may be a bit off but I think it was close to 5 parts white, 2 parts black and 3 parts yellow (adjust may be needed)..
I contacted Interlux recently about adding Trillium green to their color chart, as it would probably be a popular color with all the vintage trailers getting restored. They responded with a they will look into it, thanks.

Assuming the inside is still the original avocado colt, I’d have a body shop scan for you and get a close match.
