Trailer: Burro 17 ft Widebody
Posts: 25
I have a 1999 17 foot widebody Burro. Last trip, the awning tore off from its attachment on the roof. The tear was along the sun damaged strip that is always exposed to the sun when it's rolled up. I expected it to happen eventually. It is a heavy plasticized fabric, and the remaining piece seems to be in good shape. Is it practical to have a new UV resistant piece sewn in, or is it best to replace the entire fabric? I can't do this myself-any idea how much it would cost at an awning shop?
