With the
Scamp 13 you probably are limited to a 7'
awning rail, same as we have on our
Uhaul. Have heard of some installing an 8' rail and let the ends hang off. We bought a Shademaker 7' Classic, which protrudes 7' out from the rail and has the twist to lock poles. The Supreme model has better sliding poles and rafters, but is available in a minimum width of 8'. But wait, we now find the supreme IS available 7' wide for about an extra $25, but only protrudes 6' out. That is what we would have bought if we knew it was available. There was another recent discussion about this subject of installing an
awning on a
Scamp 13, original Poster Campytime. May be some useful info there. If you go with a Shademaker I suggest buying the optional center rafter.
Edit; don't know if Shademaker has the screen side panels, we use a separate screen room.
