Battery help!

Hi all, I have a 1995 Burro 13 foot. It's super cute and I am remodeling it. (Pics soon) But I need help figuring out what kind of battery to have. I got a Champion 1500 generator and I want to know what kind of battery I need. Reg car battery, deep cycle? I tried googling and search this forum. I'm lost. I have a lil A/c unit I would like to run.
Thanks in advance.

Probably the best battery would be a deep cycle marine grade.

Deep Cycle is the best and probably a group 27 (measure your box size) there's two types of deep cycle one being a starting/deep cycle marine rv and then there's just deep cycle that is not a starting type(as in starting the boat motor)...... that's the one that is best but the other starting type would also work just not as good for as many re-charges. If there's a "tractor Supply" by you they sell just deep cycle which would give you the most amp hours.
You could also get an AGM deep cycle which is Very Expensive if you don't have a venting system box in your trailer...... if the battery is outside you don't need to bother and a simple wal mart starting/deep cycle would be your best and cheapest alternative.
(Your air conditioner needs to run off shore power or a generator and will not run just off a battery)

Does your air conditioner run off the generator? The 1500 seams a little low for an ac.

I prefer to get a car battery that has a very long 100% replacement warranty. That way, when I wear it out by charging it multiple times, I can get a new one for free. I also use LED lights so the regular battery lasts much longer. In the long run, I save more $$ by investing in LEDs and less expensive batteries.

The AGM and deep cycle batteries have a very short warranty cycle.

LED Lights are one of the best things to do as i just changed all mine to LED.... what a difference WOW. I used warm white instead of cool white as it gave more of the original glow instead of that bluish/white that cool white does but some people prefer that so it's up to you....just test both before you purchase for the whole trailer.
....By the way i really like Darwins theory for car batteries.
