bed size
Hi, I am having trouble trying to find a trailer with a bit wider bed. Length hasn't been an issue but 42 or 44 " wide is! Is there a wider bed in some trailers? ....or a wider couch to sleep on in the front of a 13 foot trailer?
Thanks, Jay

Jay, maybe not in a 13' trailer, maybe take a look at a Trillium 4500 15' trailer. Actually I am told that the length difference is closer to 18".

Our Parkliner 15 has the 60 x 80 queen bed (with the 2 rounded corners).
Love it!

Scamp 13 DLX comes with a 54" bed. After around 2013-14 the 54" bed was optional in a S-13 std. trailer.

If you're not tall/big people, the 45" bed can be surprisingly comfortable! I know it's hard to believe, but think of it as sleeping in a two person tent, tight but cozy. We found if we sleep yin/yang (head to foot) we both have enough room for our shoulders as opposed to sleeping shoulder to shoulder. You can sleep in sleeping bags or comforters (as we do).

Casita Liberty 16' or 17' can be configured into a king size bed. The Happier Camper 13', with it's modular design allows the whole inside to be configured into a "mega bed".

Couches across the front of most 13s tend to be really narrow. Realize you are starting with a fiberglass tub that is only about ten feet long. Optional big bed Scamp is a nice choice.

Oh ya, forgot about the Surfside TM-14 front kitchen version. The bed/dinette is from the door to the back wall. This makes it a king size:

FWIW, our Escape 21 has a 54x80 bed, with a real mattress, really comfortable. but thats a massive step up from a 13 ;D
