Last week we hooked up the television in the '97 Bigfoot and got no reception on antenna. I noticed that the little green light was out that indicates whether the wall plate is on cable or antenna. The 12v power receptacle in the unit was still working, though. I read on another forum that this is a sure sign of a blown circuit board. The brand name on this unit is Braund, made in Canada. The next thing I found out is that Braund went out of business in 2004. After consulting Bigfoot Industries, I bought and installed a replacement made by Winegard. My original unit featured a built-in amplifier for a non-amplified antenna, so I got Winegard's version of that. So far, it works as well, maybe better, than the original. The only problem was that a different configuration required that I install it upside down in order to fit the wall opening correctly. I can live with that. You have to look pretty close to notice that the WINEGARD lettering is upside down. Another thing that made me a little nervous was that Winegard stated on the packaging "To be used with Winegard antennas only". But this seems to work just fine anyway. I thought I would pass this along in case any other Bigfoot owners run into this issue. Possibly some of the other Canadian trailers used Braund antenna products, too.

David - I have the Winegard amplifier setup on my 2008 Bigfoot, that came with the built in tv antenna. I don't know if Bigfoot uses the Winegard antenna, but doubt that they do. The Winegard unit works fine for me.
