Boler 1700 Body/Wall Warp

Having recently acquired my boler 1700 I've been going through my list of to do's and to do later's. On this note I noticed a definite warp to the door side of the trailer along its length. It looks like the whole side bulges inward (not noticeable from inside). While it does look warped the uniformity and fact that it warps towards the door makes me think that this may be normal for the larger trailers. While I found a wealth of information on body adjustments in 13 foot bolers I couldn't find any for their larger sibling. I was hoping some 1700 owners could chime in and let me know if this is a normal body shape, or if I should add body reconstruction surgery to my do later list.

Both sides of my Scamp look the same way, even the bellyband on the streetside

Kees, is it possible when the cabinetry was mounted inside the trailer and affixed to the outside wall, it literally sucked the wall in? I have a couple of dimpled areas on my Scamp where the rivets pulled in the fiberglass. Not really that noticable except in bright sunlight and standing at a particular angle and viewing. I don't see it as being a structural problem, just poor quality control. YMMV

nature of the beast, it hasn't effected anything else I'd not worry.

Warped in - that's interesting... they usually bulge out at the waistline, just like people.

That seems plausible to me, but with the door side reinforcements, rather than the cabinets. The B1700 usually has some sort of reinforcing structure on each side of the door opening; mine are some sort of compressed wood product, with screws though the wall under or beside the door gasket into them.

I agree, and note that quality control doesn't seem to have been a high priority at Boler.

Information is good. Lack of information is not so good, but misinformation is much worse. Check facts, and apply common sense liberally.

My Fiber Stream has an outward bulge rivaling my own.

Glad to hear it's normal and well within the Boler factories quality checking standards haha. Thanks for the reassurance everyone!
