Boler 1976 domestic refrigerator vent

The original refrigerator vent blew off last summer and I did not find it. I was wondering if there was a replacement for that vent. It’s just hooked on with slots on the top and then two screws on the bottom that held it in.
It is the lower vent

I would like to find that vent if not what other solutions would I have? I could buy a new one that would relatively fit the hole and install that.

If anyone knows where I could buy the vent that would be great, I’ve been searching for a while.

Thanks

DOMETIC?

Perhaps you mean a Dometic fridge.

That lower vent is important to let air in for combustion of the gas burner, and for cooling air when you'r on 12 volts or 120 volt power.
Are your fridge controls inside the Boler? Then you just need a ventilator grill that is screwed on. Find one at any home and builders store.

If the controls are outside, you will want a hinged or removable door with vent louvers. Go to an RV store, or try Camping World on line.

Vent cover

Thank you it was dometic not domestic, darn speech to text.

This is a 1976 Boler, therefore all the controls are on the outside found in the hatch that the vent covers as does the pilot for the fridge. The vent cover I need has three tabs on the top that fit into slots and two screw holes on the bottom to connect to the vent frame that is found on the Boler.

I have looked online at Amazon and all the RV parts places to find this particular vent cover. Mine is not hinged

I’m hoping to find the right cover, if not I have to take out the whole frame and put in a new frame with a hinge vent cover. See the in a very primitive diagram.

Dometic vent

I guess it has four tabs. I just took a closer look at my picture. And the temporary cover does have holes in it to let air in. I took this picture before I cut the holes

It does, I have door and frame. It was removed from a boler.
I’ll send you a picture when I get home Friday.

vent cover needed

If Trudy Mills doesn't want it, I am interested. I'm missing one like it and haven't located one to date.

Problem solved

On our farm we had an old tent trailer. It had a dometic fridge the same size that I had my boler. The vent cover is exactly the same as the vent cover I need for my Boler so I found one in our farm discarded vehicle area

Dometic Fridge Vent Cover 1979 Boler

Hi everyone. I find myself in this same situation. Does anyone have a vent cover they will part with? OR has anyone found an online cover that will work.
