Boler Bubbles

The ensolite on my 1974 Boler has some rather large blisters, or bubbles. So, is it air, or water? I stuck a pin into the blister - and - nothing happened. The ensolite appears to have sealed itself around the blisters. Withdrawing the pin - again - the ensolite seems to have sealed itself, leaving the bubble unscathed. I suspect its air, but what has caused it to be there? My next great(?) idea is to acquire a hypodermic needle and suck the blister causing material out. Then, inject some contact cement and hope the stuff will stick the ensolite back to the wall, where it belongs. Any other suggestions, or comments - please, and thank you.

Sounds like the path i would take to fix the problem. Just make sure the adheasive you use can handle heat up to 150F. Myself I would use 3m super 90 in a spray can and replace the tip with a tube spray tip. Then I would slice through the cover at a low angle just enough through the cover to get the spray tube in do a couple of small squirts. Press the surface together and pull it up right away. Wait a few minutes then push the surfaces back together. Take a small paint roller with a new fluffy cover and use that to roll the surface down untill you think it is fully stuck in place. Then move on to the next spot.
