How much material do I need to redo the cushions in a 13' boler?

it takes 7 meters... whatever that means!

Hi Kathy,
It will depend on the width of the fabric. I just had my cushions measured out by an upolsterer, and with the dinette cushions and the bunk/bench cushions (which are too wide for the 54" fabric I chose). He told me 11 meters. and I had calculated 8, not factoring in that the longer cushions wouldn't fit withwise along the fabric.
and if you are fussy, and want a pattern to match, you may need more.

I calculated 4.5 meters for the curtains... that may have been overkill...

I ordered some fun fabric on fabric.com. Pretty good prices, and the shipping wasn't too bad (to Calgary). I also found an online coupon, which saved me 20% on the total price.

i also just ordered some fabric from fabric.com. it was the best deal i could find, with a GREAT selection. paying for the international shipping was worth the discount of buying there. all up i paid 188.00 for 17 yards. 36.00 was for the shipping. it actually just arrived at my door about an hour ago and i'm quite pleased. they give really detailed, valuable descriptions of the fabric, so there really was no guesswork.

the person who is doing my cushions told me i would need 15 yards! i'm having the dinette and the couch/bunks done. so...everything. i ordered a few yards more since i'm doing stripes and i was told that stripes can require a bit more to match up.

the travel trailer website does say 7 meters, BUT they also do the underside of the cushions in vinyl, so they use half the amount of fabric.

I've been searching the site for the amount of fabric I needed, I guessed and wasn't far off. You probably will hate me for telling you this, but I got some outdoor fabric (sunbrella) on clearance at fabricland for $2 a meter. When I got up to the register, found out it was another 50% off! Woo Hoo! Now I just have to get up the nerve to start sewing! I just might get new foam since the fabric was basically nothing!
