Boler furnace problems.

Hey, Anyone out there know why the furnace on my 1978 13 ft. Boler does not work? The pilot light lights up and the thermocoupler works as well but when I turn the knob to on, the main burner start to fire then blows out. Does it need the slots cleaned ? Any help would be appreciated. Thanx.

You answered your own question. Take it apart and clean it, check for nest etc in the chimney.
