boler hub caps

this is more of a gosh darn than a problem. when I bought my boler last month it had nice beauty rings and chrome hub caps on, looked pretty sharp, but I finally got around to pulling the hub cap to check the wheel bearings, well no grease caps on the hubs!!!!! so bought a pair repacked bearings, installed new grease caps but now my nice hub caps don't fit

Hub caps

Hub bearing caps still out too far your your style of cap. The 4 I bought on eBay for $35 worked great. If I added bearing buddies, my caps would act like yours do...a no-go. You need higher profile caps, perhaps.

baby moons would be nice, or just use duct tape
instead of the grease caps. Jeremy I will take and post pictures tomorrow

I'm also looking for hubcap options. I lost one of the originals on a recent trip, and the other isn't in the best shape. Any idea what's out there?

Now you have me worried, I didn't even think about the bearing caps causing the baby moons I just ordered from Coker Tire (Coker Tires and Wheels) not to fit right!?!? They will be here tomorrow so I will let you know if they fit!

I paid $32 for (2) 7.5" inside nub baby moons plus $32.14 for 2 day Fed Ex so they would get here before we leave for our rally Thurs. Was about the same price as ground shipping from Hubcap Mike on the west coast with 4-5 day service. Coker is in Chatanooga TN and had them in stock.

pretty sure I can get some nice used mag wheels for mine, won't look original but what the heck. I see quite a few with those painted White Spoke steel wheels as well

I got my baby moons in last week in time for our Eggs on the Hiawassee Rally but sadly they did not fit. As far as I can tell our wheels are the original 71 Boler wheels with 3 inside nubs at 7 1/2" across. The Coker Tire baby moons fit very loosely and I knew they would come off going down the road so I removed them and put them back in the box and left them at home. Just got off the phone with them and got an RMA# so they will refund me once they get them back.

My question now is will the ones from Hubcap Mike fit my Boler wheels or will I be wasting shipping costs? Anxious to hear from another Boler owner!
