When I was planning my garage, I woke up in the middle of the night from a sound sleep with a REALLY GOOD IDEA. I was going to build a standard (28' X 40') garage with 8' walls but suddenly it occured to me that having 10' walls would allow me to store my canoes, bikes, and Sunfish sailboat from the ceiling above the cars without any problems. While ordering the supplies, I had another GREAT IDEA-instead of 7' garage doors, put in 8' doors. When I bought my Love Bug, this late night revelation definitely proved to be worth the extra money spent.

I had put my '73 boler in my garage back in the fall. She has been resting nicely in there ever since.
I was worried as my opening (due to a garage reno) was a little smaller than average. Fully expecting to have to let some air out of the tires, but she fit in there perfectly. I was plenty nervous as my dad was backing her in - I stood up on a stool so I could get an eye level view. There was at least an inch between the roof vent and the the overhead door when backing it in.

Not sure if this helps or not....

Is the saw for the trailer or the garage?

I'd be more inclined to take the tires/wheels off completely and roll it in on a wheel dolly. Rolling on flattened tires is hard on the rubber.

Take off the wheels by jacking the trailer up, put the drums down on these:

2 PC. VEHICLE DOLLIES

That's provided you have a wheeled tongue jack and no plumbing would hang down.
Donna, would the vehicle dollies drop the trailer down at least 5"?? I would think so. Lloyd

Just wanted to let you know, we are able to get our Boler into our garage with an inch or two to spare. I think our garage door is pretty standard. I'd measure it for you right now, but I'm not at home! Let me know if you would like the measurements and I can get them tonight. Good luck!!

I know the fellow that just took possession of our Boler yesterday was able to put it in his garage with about 1.5" to spare...Lucky him---lucky egg!! It DID go to a good home!!!!!
We could not do that when we had it and I know our new escape won't fit in....

You might as well raise the garage, because you know eventually you will get a 17' Escape,Casita,Burro, etc. with air on the roof.
