I am making a consul to go under the front shelf in the Boler 1700 with a new updated fuse box to power some devices that were not around in 1978 ( battery level gauge,12 volt ,outlets for satellite box, TV and dvd player). I was going to run a fresh 12 ga. wire from the battery. my question is; will the built in 120 to 12 volt converter run these devices or will they run off the battery? Does the converter tie into the battery?

If it wasn't -30 below (-44 windchill) I would go outside and run some tests I thought this would be a warmer way finding out

When i had my 17ft Boler and installed some extra items i just run from battery with in line fuses. This included what you had talked about.

And you can keep your cold weather
