Hi.

We have owned our 2002 since May of 2004. (It sat on the lot for a year, due to the price. The first owners used it and found it too small.) This is our third season and have travelled about 5000 miles with it. We love it. (It even has an air conditioner though no built-in furnace or shower yet.)

A window question: how do you keep the window hinges from opening on their own? We have not lost a window yet, but the hinges are often loose when we stop, specifically the kitchen window.

Any suggestions are appreciated. Thank you.

Hey guys...I answered your email, but I was wondering if you could send me a pic with the A/C unit on the roof? Is it thin or just the normal size?

Thanks,

Trevor

Sorry for the delay. We were on the road!
I have added a photo but if it is too small I can send a full size directly to you. Just ask.

You said that you did not make any changes to the windows. Did you do any modifications? I am wondering about the "hinged plywood under the matress" suggestion, for example.

Glad to find another Oxygen owner! We bought ours in March '03, when they went on sale and were discontinued (we didn't know that at the time). We had some problems with the windows too. The dealer put new rubber seals around the windows and also fixed the hinges by glueing the release mechanisms; all this was done under warranty.
