Booster antenna on FBRV

With a fibreglass trailer, the magnetic mount antenna won't work, obviously.
I have seen people put small plates on the roof to mount the antenna but I don't think they are getting the best value of the antenna.
I wonder if anyone has used a marine antenna for their WiFi and Cellular boosters and how that worked out for them and if there are any suggestions for the right antenna for these boosters.

While adding a 4"-6" diameter metal ground plane will work fine with a magnetic antenna, I've used a WirEng Boat Antenna for the last couple of years, connected to a Wilson Sleek amplifier & Verizon Jetpack & am pleased with it. It provides higher gain than most magnetic antennas.

Thanks for that information...very helpful and I do like the compactness of that antenna. We have started to think of trying the first option initially and if that is not enough going to the marine antenna...but still...

TechnoRV has a suction cup that holds the antenna and sticks great on fiberglass.

Thanks Bill, that's a pretty cool device. I checked it out on their website. I was hoping for a more permanent solution, but will definitely keep that in mind for future antenna types that we will want.
