Broken Dometic Fridge

I have a 1974 Trillium 1300 with a Dometic fridge that is no longer working. I would like to remove it so I could take it to get serviced, and if completely dead, can replace with something newer. I am having trouble removing it. Can anyone tell me what the magic trick is. Are their any hidden screws I am not seeing?

You might find a manual with installation instructions in the Document Center. Left column under Resources. Good luck, Raz

There may be a screw into the floor in there rear of the refer.
When you get it out you might turn it upside down for about 24 hours and then try it.
Sometimes this helps on older units.

What John said. My Dometic has 4 screws in the front, and three in the bottom at the back, accesible through the lower vent door. Also disconnect the propane line, and the power plug in, if you have one. Then it should pull out from the front, into the trailer. They can be quite heavy, those older refers.

1. on the outside---is there Yellow Liquid at the bottom./.can you smell Amonia? if so it completely gone.
2. maybe (on electric) just the heating element is bad
3.Does the propane flame burn? does that portion work?
4. i took one out for a friend did the (BURP) solution, upside down 24 hours,, back in place 24 hrs.. worked fine for 2 more years. unit needs to be level to Work correctly on (OLD UNITS)
my 2 cents sparky1 in s.Va.
