Bubbly separation of Boler popcorn liner from ceiling

Hi all. we have the Boler 1700, and are loving it. But it seems every time I look at the ceiling there is another area where the ceiling insulation has made a downward, bubble looking separation from the roof. We have not found a product that will allow us to inject an adhesive through a tiny hole so there is not too much repair work to be done, after the first repair. So, questions are: why is this happening? Age? Moisture? And any products out there to easily stick the areas back up, in a cosmetically acceptable manner? Thanks! Love this forum!

Ours had the exact same thing, especially when we had a string of really hot days.
I simply took a sewing needle and pierced the lining in a few places and squished all the air out. Worked fine for me as the bubble was still very sticky underneath.
