Hi All
I have a break in metal works and patching fiberglass, so got some time to upgrade internal lights.

I opened up one of light fixtures and fount a bulb marked as 1141. Which LED I can replace it with and if it's same standard as 1154?

Thanks

PS It looks like my 77' b1700 has 9mm baynet type bulbs outside clearance lights, but there is no markings on them. Which LEDs could go there?

Go to this site and look around. I think they have LED's for your needs.

Oh yeah they might have.
The problem is I have no clue if my "1141-or-something" bulbs have the same connector as 1156.

OK it looks like 1141 an 1156 are both using BA15s base.

This site has more information about bulbs than you care to know.

http://www.donsbulbs.com

In this case, the 1156 replaces the 1141, has the same physical characteristics, is brighter (26.9W vs 18.4) and uses more current (2.1A vs 1.44). (I told you, more than you care about!)

IIRC, the 1141 was the standard stop light bulb back in the 50s and 60s, most likely replaced with a newer, brighter model.

To answer your question, any LED compatible with the 1156 will work.

1141 and 1156 are the same base, I have both in my camper, I replaced with what I could find at the time. But am replacing both with LED's. The 1141 was standard in my camper, is less watts and consequently doesn't get as hot, which will yellow your lenses. I love the LEDS.

That's the impression I've got after doing some reading on subj.

Thanks to all.
