I'm a new owner of 1977 Boler
. All the cushions have been recovered, including the upper bunk. As I washed all the coverings & aired out the cushions, I had to remove screws from the hinge, although I left the hinge in place. However, I am not sure that this L-shaped hinge was reinstalled properly by a PO, so am wondering if anyone can tell me how the hinge should be.
Right now, it appears as the the top of the L hinge itself would act as a support resting under the the bunk, which, even for a child seems a little worrisome (See A in attached drawing). Should the bunk instead hang down from the hinge (
