Burro "Headliner"issues

Help! I am having a heck of a time replacing the fabric in the ceiling of my 83 13 foot Burro. I can't seem to find an adhesive that will hold the replacement vinyl to the ceiling. Any suggestions?

Ed, have you tried the 3M 90 Adhesive Spray?? That's what many of us use.

Are you running into the challenge of what will stick to the raw underside of the outer hull? Yeah, I don't know the answer to that either. I'll be interested in hearing what folks have figured out. I used the super heavy duty 3M spray on mine and...no dice.

I"m actually putting vinyl over the liner that is already there but having issues with adhesion. Haven't tried the 3 M spray, but that's next. Thanks for the advice. Ed

Headliner replacement

The 3M spray should work - but you have to spray both the back of the fabric and the fiberglass, not just one or the other. It works sort of like contact cement...
Also, contact cement will work - follow directions...

Lynn, you've got that right! I'd have an idea for the camper and my DH would say "that won't work" and I'd say "well so-and so did it on the forum!"

Sometimes not so "darling"---then other "d" words can be inserted!

And most of the inserted " D " words only have four letters.
