My converter died in May while I was in Minnesota. Can anyone tell me what kind of converter to buy now? I like the switch with the battery/converter on it. I'm sure the old converter is the original that came with the camper. Brand names and model numbers would be greatly appreciated!

Other persons I contacted gave me their opinions and suggested that I also include some pictures. I'm also planning to do the rewiring to the converter. Thank you!

Gee, our '75 didn't come with a converter
I thought that was something "the other guys" had...

if you were to gut the housing could you fit one of the new Progressive dynamic converters inside?

they are very easy to hook up, looking at your pictures, the black cable going in appears to be the 120v leads, the blue should be to the battery, and the red/white are internal to the converter

all the switch does is either connect your load (lights etc) to either the red wire from the converter, or the black wire from the battery(in your case the fused blue wire)
