can anyone identify this trailer
I have a 69 triple e 14 ft with 2 cargo doors at the rear as well as a man door in the side, looks like a trillium, but with less windows. I bought it as I have never seen anything like it. I heard on this site that it maybe was a sportsman but ? 14 or 15 ft it's sort of a 14.5. any ideas?

I agree, pic's please!
I remember once reading about Triple E also being a horse trailer builder as well. But never read anything about them mixing the two!

Thats interesting- Surfsides are Triple E..... wonder if they made one as well or if it was just registered incorrectly originally. It sure looked like the Trillium Sportman brochure posted.

LOL no one said "confirmed" its a Trillium, just that it was ID'd as a Trillium based on the Trillium Sportsman brochure.
Hoping your going to be the one that confirms it!

Miles, back on the original thread where your new trailer was posted Kootenaigirl mention that she was told the owner of the trailer said it was a Trillium. You may want to ask the dealer you purchased it from if you can talk to the person who sold it (although there name is probable on the registration) and ask them why they thought it was a Trillium and if so why they registered it as a Triple E... it might help to shed some light on your mystery. You could also try calling Trillium in Calgary and ask if they know of any history where Triple E and Trillium possible worked together on a trailer such as the Sportsman Trillium or if in fact Triple E made a similar trailer.... never know.

Thanks Carol, that's all worthy of looking into, I'll post if I find out anything...the dealer didn't have the reg, he guessed it was a Trillium, as that was my first thought too when Kootenae Girl first put the pics up, a friend had a Triple E same size and the interior was wood too so it probably is a Triple E, but they do look similar, thanks for everyones interest and help, especially Kootenae Girl for the original find and pics.

Glad it stayed in BC and thanks Kootenai Girl for sharing your find and not keeping it to yourself!
Miles, it does look a little like a Triple E but it also looks very much like the brochure for the Trillium. If you track down the actual seller and tell them you are a vintage trailer junky that likes to record the full history they may be more willing to share what they know of its history...... as no one has indicated a previous sighting of a Triple E cargo type trailer my money still rides on it being a Trillium regardless of what the registration says.... dont know why but suspect ICBC may have played a roll in that change in name ;-)) When I first registered my Scamp they told me there where no Scamps in their data base (yet I know for a fact there was a 13' in the province fully registered). They created a new data base entry for it anyways...

If BC is anything like Alberta, a lot of crazy stuff happens with trailer registration. My trailer is a ventura, made my Monarch trailers, but on the registration, it's listed a manufacturer "boler", model "ventura".
