can my mini van tow this?

I was wondering if anyone would be kind enough to tell me if my Chrysler grandcaravan 93 would be able to tow a 13 foot boler. I have front wheel drive and was told that i don't have the greatest tranny either. I know diddlysquat about cars so would appreciate any advice you lovely folks can give me. Since i drive a funky painted van (i'm an artist) i was planning on painting my boler all bright and colourful too with inspirational sayings on it. Do you consider that blasphemy? Im not a purist in any sense of the word.

Thank you so much,
Violette :)

Hi BohemianGirl! Welcome to the website!

I think when you find your Boler, it will tell you whether and how you can paint it.

I mean, if you come across a deal-you-can't-refuse on a Boler in pristine, mint condition, you might feel like continuing to preserve it... On the other hand, if your deal is for a Boler that's seen better days and needs a whole, complete makeover, go for it.

Here's Thomas Haney's Scamp, which had some serious problems (documented in his Lots of Scamp Modifications thread).

Violette .. if your minivan is equipped with 6 cyclinder engine and a tow package (heavy duty radiator, transmission cooler, etc), then I would say you could pull the Boler with no problem!

thank you!

Thank you Mary and Charles! It has always been my dream....the dream of a gypsy to own my own Boler that i could make into a gypsy-like oasis to travel in! I appreciate your input!

Namaste,
Violette

I agree - you should have no problems concerning weight.

Just stay off those steep hills heading directly up from the WR Pier !
