Can someone answer a bunk question with my Sc13?

Could someone measure their bunk poles for me? When I bought my trailer a few weeks ago I had come across the poles for the bunks. I never tried to install them until today and something is not right. When I pull the back cushion up to install the poles the bed is not even by a long shot.
I am wondering if my poles were cut. My poles measure 23" overall and 20" at the cleat?, loop?). My poles need to raise 2-21/2" to become level. Also I have nothing to attach the bunk pole (cleat?, loop?) to the cushion. Is it as simple as a screw into the wood to hold it in place? Thanks.

I'll check mine when I get home if no one else has replied by then. The little loop on the side of the pole is wide enough to slip over a small screw on the bottom of the top bunk, then locks in when pulled toward the narrow part of the loop.

Should be two screws sticking part way out of the bottom bunk , pointed down. Directly above the cleats.

Looks like yours are short. Can't imagine why. Mine measure 25-5/8" and the cleat is about 3" down from the top.

Great! Thank-you. I figured they were short and wanted to be sure before I order more from Scamp. Also I do not have screws in the bottom of the cushion, but I can fix that.

Humm, any way you can get in touch with the sellar and ask WHY they pole were cut? There had to be a reason.
