Carpet on the Walls

While my husband is working on the sink/stove/countertop I am going to start on the walls imstalling low shag carpeting. I read where someone had it fall off. I need advise on a GOOD adhesive that is really going to stick. We are winters in FL and summers in PA. So all weather. Thanks, georgia

The above link has been very helpful in the past for me in the adhesives dept. and their phone help has been good too, moisture and the rapid changes in temp should factor in here as well as an overhead gravity issue, I like believe it or not "Goop" adhesives in the past, but have had good results with faster set time silicones when used with two sided carpet tapes to hold into place until it sets firm.

I do not like the 3M tack adhesives though, they did work somewhat, but it was frustrating and messy.
