Casita Library

A small briefcase keeps stuff from getting dogeared, is organized and stores easily. :)

good idea

I use a three ring binder for the same purpose. Keep all manuals, scale ticket, registration, plus my mod list and camping log in it. Stores nicely in that shallow storage space under the Casita Spirit dinette seat (bath end).

Well, I'm impressed. I never thought of where to put that stuff but in the floor. it always started on the table, but ended on the floor. With the suitcase I could be sloopy about it, but still be neat. I had a notebook type with my other rv. kept picking it up upside down. and :yep on the floor the stuff went. but at least it was all in the same pile. :wak

Addicted

:helpme

I have been addicted to storing everything in 3 Ring Binders for years. I never throw old binders away if they can possibly be used for something else in the future. You can even find nice ones at Garage Sales now and then. I have two 'big fat ones' that are labeled 'Equipment info'. In these I keep all of the manuals, receipts and repair records, corrospondence for anything I buy. TV's, Dishwashers, etc, etc. I have one in my shop for all my power and hand tools that have any paperwork with them at purchase. It's easy to find repair info, etc, when needed.

I have one started for the CASITA as well and I'm sure it will grow to multiple volumes. I even keep copies of Forum articles and E Mail corrospondence in there as well. When I sold my Motorhome recently, the buyer was thrilled with the 2, 3 inch binders that I had put together.

The other thing I use on occasion is the heavy paper pocket folders with the fold over flap that seals with Velcro. They also have them in plastic now. Go browse the appropriate section at Office Depot and you will be amazed at all the possibilities.

Sorry, didn't mean to get carried away.

Yes, I know there's a word for people like me but you don't want to be around when I can't find something that I know I have.
