I have been addicted to storing everything in 3 Ring Binders for years. I never throw old binders away if they can possibly be used for something else in the future. You can even find nice ones at Garage Sales now and then. I have two 'big fat ones' that are labeled 'Equipment info'. In these I keep all of the manuals, receipts and repair records, corrospondence for anything I buy. TV's, Dishwashers, etc, etc. I have one in my shop for all my power and hand tools that have any paperwork with them at purchase. It's easy to find repair info, etc, when needed.
I have one started for the CASITA
as well and I'm sure it will grow to multiple volumes. I even keep copies of Forum articles and E Mail corrospondence in there as well. When I sold my Motorhome recently, the buyer was thrilled with the 2, 3 inch binders that I had put together.
The other thing I use on occasion is the heavy paper pocket folders with the fold over flap that seals with Velcro. They also have them in plastic now. Go browse the appropriate section at Office Depot and you will be amazed at all the possibilities.
