Casita wiring question

Ok my first dumb question for Casita owners
My 1998 17sd did not come with a battery or tray. I have three wires in the battery compartment(black , white and green) I know what the black and white are but is the green (ground) also attached to the - terminal or was it for the battery mount tray?

Never mind, just found instructions for a slide out tray mod and it shows the green wire attached to the - terminal as well as the white.

Before you connect anything put a meter on those wires and verify what there are. Previous owners could have changed many things since 1998. Do yourself a favor and test before you connect.

This is great advice. I just changed the 7-pin connector on my 1996 Casita. I found several different color code "standards" online for the various wires, all of them wrong. The diagram in the Casita manual turned out to be a mirror image of the connector and was also wrong about the colors. I ended up having to put power to each of the wires to see what lit up.
