Hi. I have recently purchased a Trillium 1300 fixer upper. Some of the ethafoam stuff needs to be replaced...perhaps all of it. So, what I'm thinking is this... strip out the old ethafoam, glue 3/8" wood strips to the interior, line the interior walls between the strips with the bubble reflective stuff, and then glue or staple cedar strips to the wood strips. Has anybody ever done this? Any thoughts? Thanks for your comments.

Well, it's been done on the exterior of a teardrop; so I imagine it would work

I'm thinking that to make some of the curves on the interior, the strips will have to be 3/4" or so wide. I don't know how thin I can cut the strips, but as thin as possible. I'm also a bit concerned about the weight factor of the wood.
