I have been searching on here and getting really tired So I am giving up and asking for your help. Where can we find a sub-miniature circuit breaker for our Burro. Ours is worn out and "trips" off often. Thanks for any input you may have.

Is this a 12v or 120v breaker?
If 12v, I suggest you check with your favorite auto parts store.
For 120v, good luck. All I know is there are several brands, styles and sizes of breakers. You might be better off to replace the whole breaker panel.

In the topic breaker works too well, there is an example of a breaker which needed replacement, and in one of my posts I list a source of them. Maybe it's the same style?

I would try a camping supply store like Camping World or get the name of the unit it installs into and ask them.

My dad rigged a screw in fuse he had hanging around to replace the "breaker works too well" breaker.

Yes Brian, thank you. Everything in that thread was related to our circuit breaker, pictures were there as well. Sounds like, as already mentioned, we will have to replace it. Thanks to you all and your help. Eaton Areospace makes one like it, but I don't think they sell to the public.

For the Bussman breakers (or equivalent) in small quantities, the RV places are probably the easiest source. For example, the source I mentioned in the other thread...
item 13419 in the lower right corner of page 63 of the current Coast catalog from Go-RV.com
I got mine from a local RV dealer (as shown in the link) who gets them through Coast (Go-RV); Coast distributes to dealers all over North America.

Some breakers are available with a time delay action in case it is the surge of start up that is causing the problem. Can you tell what's tripping it?

Usually my vacum would trip it or if I try to run the ceramic heater to much. If I keep the heater on low enough it would be okay. We did find this site http://www.alliedelec.com/Search/SearchRes...4713FF00EAE617F
They have similar circuit breakers. Thanks for all your input.
