We had 24 below zero Sunday Morning and we are predicted to have 27 below on Tues and 32 below on Wed ( actual air temps not that phony wind chill)
Most of my neighbors heat with propane and will experience zero issues except a really high heat bill . The idea that propane heating systems automatically shut down when temps drop below freezing is BS
Something to consider is that in our area during winter they never let propane tank levels drop below 20 to 30%
We heat with wood only because we often experience electric power outages in winter and standard furnaces require electricity

They are considering closing schools on Wed because wind chills are predicted to be in the 60 to 70 below range and there worried about poor visibility from blowing snow
